Every independent contractor in our matching network must clear strict credential audits.
State Contractor License Audit
We verify active license standing directly against state regulatory databases (such as California CSLB C-20, Texas TDLR ACR, and Florida DBPR). Contractors with suspended, delinquent, or unverified licenses are immediately excluded from dispatch.
EPA Section 608 Certification
Technicians handling pressurized refrigerants must possess active EPA Section 608 Universal or Type II certifications in full compliance with Title VI of the Clean Air Act.
Commercial Insurance Verification
We verify that network contractors maintain active commercial general liability coverage (minimum $300,000 to $1,000,000) and statutory workers' compensation insurance to protect homeowners against liability.
Fair Quote & Review Monitoring
Contractors agree to upfront, itemized diagnostic pricing before commencing work. We continuously monitor verified homeowner satisfaction metrics and remove contractors who fail to maintain our high service threshold.
Marketplace Disclosure & Business Model
ServiceFind is an independent matching and referral marketplace. ServiceFind does not directly provide HVAC installation, mechanical contracting, or repair services. All mechanical services, permits, warranties, and service agreements are contracted directly between the homeowner and the independent licensed contractor matched through our platform.
Contractors in our network operate independently and maintain their own pricing, labor warranties, and business policies. ServiceFind receives referral fees from network partners, which allows us to provide this research and matching portal to consumers at zero upfront cost.
